Amazing Story of Keanu Reeves

There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope. – Bernard Williams

Keanu Reeves is one of the most inspiring Hollywood actors.

Like other successful people, he had a disadvantage start in his life. Yet, he never let it becomes an excuse for him to blame the government, to blame his parent, to blame his school. Instead he works hard at it. He has the grit to win and the persistence to stay on, just a little bit longer, until he has success.

Life may be unfair to him. Tragedies after tragedies fall upon him. He has the options to feel bitter and shun himself from the world. Instead, he carries on with his life, achieving wonder and inspiring others.

He is down to earth. He is not flashy with his wealth. He is generous with his money and time. He respects others and knows what it means to be courteous to one and all.

Let his actions inspire us to achieve greatness in our lives, while keeping in tact the goodness within us.

Have a great TGIF and strive to excellence!

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.- Abraham Lincoln

It is ironic, isn’t it? It contradicts itself.

In any case, read up on the article by Inc and see how you can benefit from the simple steps it has listed down there.

Wishing you success in living a grander life.

Successful People

I’d like to think you don’t stop being creative once you get happy. My ultimate goal is to end up being happy. Most of the time. – Taylor Swift

Do you believe the successful people are smart people?

Those with high IQ?

If that is the case, PhD graduates are all successful.

But time and again have proven this to be false.

There are many successful people who are dropouts. Those who didn’t even finish their primary school education.

Why? Why is that so?

IQ is not a measure of success. Instead it is about grit. You need to persist.

You have to stay longer in the competition. You need to stand up tall after falling down.

Get up on your feet if life knock you down. All without the loss of enthusiasm.

Education is not a measure of success. Instead, it all depends on how strong is your willpower to win.

Focus on the right thing. It is not the end of the world if you do not score a high point in IQ tests. Stay strong!

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. – Oprah Winfrey

Celebrate your success. Celebrate your milestones!

That doesn’t mean that you are being egoistic. Or arrogant. Or bragging.

No. It doesn’t mean you are showing off too.

It is actually a good thing. Really.

It improves your self esteem. You respect yourself more. You do not pity yourself, for you have success along your way.

You appreciate of the tiny things in life. Of everything that you are capable of doing.

You are more confident. You have done it before, and you can definitely do it again. It is evident that you have the capabilities of succeeding.

If you are feeling down and out, you can refer back to the past success that you have. Of all your accomplishment. Enough with the whining, and get back to work. You can redeem yourself.

It’s always feel good to celebrate success. A simple way of being happy.

Make it a habit to celebrate life, and to celebrate the things that you have done.  Stay cheerful and embrace life.

When Results are lacking

Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting. – Joyce Meyer

Saw a post by foundrmagazine on their Instagram :

What do you do when you do not see the results that you want?

You put in effort day in, day out. Weeks pass by. Months pass by. Years pass by.

When do you persist? When do you throw in the towel?

Believe. You must always believe in yourself. Have faith in your capability and believe in things will work out eventually. There is no use doubting and second guessing yourself.

System. Does the system work? Look for hard facts. Did other successful people use the same system? Success leaves clues. Therefore, from the clues, we can reverse-engineer and figure out the system that work. Follow their step-by-step methodological. If the system doesn’t work, change it!

Time. Anything worthwhile takes time. Don’t rush it over. If you are doing things correctly, and with the right intention, the right results will eventually show. Be patience.

What are the things that you have been putting in efforts and still aren’t seeing any results? Stay calm, and remember the three pointers.

Trifactor for Success

Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts. – Winston Churchill

What do you really need to be successful?

We are all logical people. Logical mind should be it. We think and analyze objectively. We understand the situation, we gauge the importance, we evaluate the alternative solutions, and we study the outcomes.

And yet the results fall short. What can’t a logical brain do?

We need to have the resolve. The passion. We need the emotions to carry on. Persistence is not something you will upon with your mind power. It comes from the heart. Passion is the keyword, a feeling that each and everyone needs to be strive in this brave new world. It always has, and always will be. History dictates it that the world is run by the most persistent and passionate persons.

And still, results do come and go. It is random. What else is lacking?

Have you heard of gut feeling? You need to trust your hunch. To tap into the mysterious power of instincts. Even when your logical mind has analyzed it, and your emotion is running wild with passion, you need to proceed with caution if your sixth sense is hesitant of it. Your subconscious mind may have picked up signals that have yet been noticeable to you.

The mind, the heart, the gut. If you were to choose one, which one would you choose? A small mind would choose either one. A brave soul would choose all three.

We are much bigger than that. Why limit yourself? Why play at other people’s field? Why not choose your own setting that would give you the most competitive advantage, to win in the game?

How would you align yourself to your goals, making full use of your mind, your heart, and your gut feeling to carve success in your life?

Programming Your Mind for Success

To travel is to take a journey into yourself. – Danny Kaye

Carrie Green gave a brilliant talk on being successful.

Why we didn’t take the actions to succeed? Typical reasons (or excuses) given are fear, obstacles, and lack of motivation.

When we are presented with a challenge – what really went through your mind? To dismiss it, to grab it, or to do it out of goodwill?

The mind influences our decisions to make, our actions to take, and subsequently the results we will get.

If we do not know what to do, but we are committed to achieve our end results, what do we do? We ask. It’s as simple as that. Ask for directions and help.

Success needs to have a feeling of being fulfilled. Success without pursuing your passion is wrong. It won’t last. It would make your life hollow.

Success depends on how you control your self-limiting beliefs. Focus on the things that you want to achieve (the why, the what, the how), instead of the awful thoughts and problems.
