Pay It Forward

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone. – Audrey Hepburn

In a world full with constant negative news, it’s very hard to stay positive.

But that is the very reason why it is more important now to stay positive.

We must not let negativity rule our world.

We are not ignorant of all the negativity in the world. Instead, we choose on positivity, and what we can do make this world a better place.

To stay positive is not enough. We must help others.

Often we receive help from others. And most of the time, we cannot repay their kindness directly.

The only way, is to pay it forward. Paying it forward is a means to influence others. To inform them of this movement. To let them know that they too can help others.

Passing it forward, of the goodness in life. Everyone needs help. Everyone can help others, in one way or another. To help without expecting anything in return. To help one another, even strangers.

Especially strangers.

The question is, how can you pay it forward?

Spread Some Joy

Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results. – Willie Nelson

How often is it that you open up your local news and the first news is about war? Poverty? Accidents? Corruptions?

How often is it that your Facebook newsfeed is about your friends sharing hatred? Injustice? Inflation? Haze?

How often is it that your Twitter newsfeed is about crimes? Murder? Embezzlement?

This world needs a change.

It needs you.

You can be the catalyst to greatness.

Just like Mother Teresa. Just like Mahatma Gandhi. Just like Nelson Mandela.

You can bring joy and laughter.

Instead of being a doom-bringer, bring positivity in your life.

Share uplifting news.

On the lookout for the kindness in people.

Start a movement on kindness.

Spare a thought for the less fortunate.

You can make a difference, regardless how small a step it may be.

You would be creating the ripple effect, compounded effect over time.

Never underestimate your role in bringing a smile to your fellow friends.

What is the one thing you can do today to make others have a better day?

Happy TGIF!

That’s practically what is going on in each other’s mind. End of work, it’s time to play!

We would want to be happy. We, ourselves.

But have we ever stopped and think if other people are happy as well?

When we think of other people, not as strangers, but as friends, there would be less of a conflict.

We see each other as the same. Just like one big happy family.

To wish others joy and abundance.┬áIt doesn’t take anything away from us.

There’s plenty of joy and abundance. Aplenty.

Let’s try this simple exercise. For the next two days, let’s send well wishes to anyone you encounter. For everyone whom you see on the street. Wish them joy and laughter. Health and wealth. Love and success.

See if it doesn’t change your life.

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow. – Helen Keller
