Lukas Graham 7 Years

I learned the value of hard work by working hard. – Margaret Mead

Kept on hearing Lukas Graham’s 7 Years on radio. It was catchy and pleasant to the ears. At least, to my ears.

There’s something about the lyrics that we can learn.

It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker

We have to believe in ourselves. Believe in our ability, to learn and to perform. Believe that we are bigger than the problems that we are facing.

Success lies outside of our comfort zone. The more we push, the faster we learn. And it is not an individual journey. We push each other. We push our friends, those who share the same dreams as us. The journey to success is not meant to be climbed by yourself, all alone.

I only see my goals, I don’t believe in failure
Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major

We have to be goal oriented. Focused on the things that we want to achieve. There is no way but up. There is no other way but success. Give yourself no room for excuse. Give yourself no excuse for failure.

We should be biased. Biased towards optimism. We have to keep our negativity and self-criticism in check. Once we leave them out, it would unleash a downward-spiral that would be out of control.

Success lies within you. Believe in yourself and keep working on it. Believe in yourself, believe in your ability to figure things out, believe in seeing the rainbow after the rain. Keep working, keep pushing. And keep your like-minded friends with you, by your side, to encourage one another to the end goal.
