Open up your newspaper and the news of terrorism fill the front cover. Turn on the TV and all you see is news on recession.

Detox from negative news.

That doesn’t mean you are living in ignorance, like an ostrich burying its head in the sand.

Know that they exist. Reading its headlines is more than enough. Catch its summary, knowing what has happened, factually.

Ignore all the commentary and opinions.

Do not indulge in bad news that surrounds all over us.

The world we live in are negative enough. Don’t contribute and self pity in it.

Instead, meditate. Cultivate calm and serenity in our lives.

Promote happiness. Be happy and contented in the little things.

Act in kindness. Be kind to one another.

It doesn’t make your world worse if you read less negative news. But you have all to gain to indulge in positivity.
