The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering. – Ben Okri
A snippet of Cameron Diaz’s interview.
There’s the false thinking that happiness comes from fame. To be happy, one must be famous first. It’s like the only thing we know that would make us happy. Blame it on the TV and movies that we grow up watching. Everyone of us yearns to be the actor or actress in the movies.
Fame doesn’t define you. If you have this mindset of fame equals to happiness, you would be searching for happiness all over your life. It is a never-ending rat-race. You would never find it.
In reality, happiness depends on how you live your life authentically. To be the person whom you truly are. You set your own rules. You set your own destiny. Fulfillment comes from within.
“To know how to love, and how to be loved, that is such a beautiful thing.” – Cameron Diaz
