Lost time is never found again. – Benjamin Franklin
There’s just not enough time in the world.
There’s work to do. Projects, projects, projects. Last minute assignments.
There’s family commitment – to our parents, spouses, kids.
There’s homework and more homework to do. There’s tuition classes to attend. There’s curricular activities in the evening.
There’s dinner with friends. There’s clubbing with the gals. There’s the drinking with the guys.
If only there were 25 hours a day. No, if only there were 48 hours a day.
This calls for time management tips!
One misconception for time management is to do more in less time.
The truth is on doing less within the available time.
What? Doing less?!?!?
Yes, doing less. It’s about you saying “NO” to activities that are not aligned to your goals. Prioritize!
It’s not about the quantity. It’s about the quality of the time spent.
You need to know what are your life goals – what is it that is truly important to you, to your family, to your work.
You need to know what truly add values to your goals.
Anything, and everything, that conflicts with your goals deserve a big “NO” in the request.
Make plans of what you do. Plan your schedules in making the most of your time achieving the things that bring you closer to your dreams.
Learn to do your tasks more efficiently. Cut down the time needed with new knowledge. There is always education – in learning new skills or in seeing your situations differently.
How well do you cope with your time? What is your main method in being more efficient with your time?
