Practise, Practise, Practise

In the practice of tolerance, one’s enemy is the best teacher. – Dalai Lama

As we go to the gym to do weight lifting, will our muscle strain, tear and build. As we train our muscle, it gets bigger, better and stronger.

The same goes to our belief, attitude, mind, emotion, intelligence, creativity.

What we focus on, expand.

As we practise believing a new set of beliefs, will it become stronger.

As we practise living a new set of attitude, will it become stronger.

As we practise adopting a new set of thinking, will it become stronger.

What we focus on, expand.

What I didn’t say here, what kind of belief, attitude or thinking.

Nor did I say will it be easy.

It takes practice, deliberate practice, to achieve any success. Whether you are aiming for the better health, a better career or a better lifestyle – it all depends on what you have been practising on your life.

What do you want to make stronger? Your muscle? Your belief? Your attitude? Choose one, and for the next 30 days – practise living to your very best – like how your ideal best would do – in making it stronger.
