Responsibility 100%

You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today. – Abraham Lincoln

Have you ever felt like you aren’t getting the results you want? You think that there are many things uncertain, many things beyond your control?

What if I told you, that your results is actually your own doings (or undoings), 100%? It is your 100% responsibility, and no one else?

You could claim it is the weather’s problem. The rain caused the massive traffic jam.

You could say it is the government’s fault. Their poor policy and high tax system made saving money an impossible task.

You could even blame your parents for the lack of opportunities to progress.

Jack Canfield mentioned this in his book The Success Principles: How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be – you are responsible to the quality of your life.

There may be external circumstances that you have no control over. But you can control the response that you do with respect to the circumstances in order to get the outcomes that you desire.

Take 100% responsibility. You may say, “That’s absurd. That’s so hard on me. Pity me.”

It is with this realization, that you own 100% results in your life, that is liberating. You have the total power to control your life.

You are not dependent on others to give you the success that you want.

You have a different way of viewing things. Things ain’t bad, they just provide a different perspective to challenge your assumptions.

You would anticipate what would most likely to happen, and take steps to make the best use out of it.

There is always a silver lining in every cloud.

For traffic jam, you could choose to listen to relaxing music or inspirational CDs.

For lack of savings, you could find a higher paying job and cut down on your spendings.

For the lack of opportunities, you could pursue your own self studies, undertaking the mentorship, or even start your own business.

No one owes you a living, except yourself.

It is your choice. You choose to live happily or you choose to live in a less than perfect life.

What would be your response? What would you choose? Claim your life – take 100% of everything that happens in your life.
