You figure that time could heal all wounds, but some people just really hold a crazy grudge. – Steven Adler
Bought a weighted vest last week. And finally got the chance to try it out today.
My first impression? It was light. Although it was just 5KG, it seems weightless as it was evenly distributed all over my shoulder.
As time pass by, the weight began to be noticeable. And before long. I called it quit.
And I remembered a story, a similar one to this.
A professor lectured in a class. Asking the students to hold the glass (half filled with water) – hand upstraight.
At first, the weight was barely noticeable. As time passes, the weight became more unbearable.
It was a story on holding grudges. You may think it was a small matter. An insignificant idea that stay in the back of your mind.
Little did you notice, that over time, this “little” element would blown up to immeasurable substance.
Take time today to reflect.
Reflect on the things that you may take grudges on.
And let it go. Free yourself from the pain and sorrow of still carrying it with you.
It’s time to forgive and forget.
And move on.
What’s the one thing that you want to free yourself from?
